As the opening of Epic Universe approaches, Universal Orlando has released the first official photos from inside the park.
The new photos provide a first look at the worlds that make up the new park: Celestial Park, Super Nintendo World, Dark Universe, How to Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic.
At the entrance, visitors will encounter a large portal called the Chronos. It leads to Celestial Park, the first land and the hub of the park with portals to the other themed worlds.
Continuing clockwise, visitors will next encounter Super Nintendo World, which features the Mario Kart attraction and the Donkey Kong-themed Mine-Cart Madness roller coaster.
The design of this world is similar to versions at Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Studios Japan.

Up next is Dark Universe, which is set in the village of Darkmoor. The world, inspired by Universal’s classic monsters, will include two rides: Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment, featuring 14 animatronics of monsters like Dracula and the Creatures from the Black Lagoon; and Curse of the Werewolf, a family spinning coaster.

How to Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk will be inspired by the animated film franchise and feature a theme of vikings and dragons. This world will feature a dragon stage show with flying dragons, a roller coaster and a water ride with water cannons.
Epic Universe will include The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic. Universe’s third Harry Potter land. Visitors will venture around 1920s Paris, which will feature a live show called Le Cirque Arcanus. They’ll then be able to travel to 1990s London by way f the Metro-Floo for the Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry ride.
Universal’s new park is currently undergoing previews. The first group to experience the park have been Universal Orlando employees.
Epic Universe officially opens to the public on May 22.
