After numerous teases and taunting, Universal Orlando has finally revealed its first haunted house for this year’s Halloween Horror Nights.

Slaughter Sinema 2 will be one of the 10 houses featured at the after-hours horror fest, Universal revealed Saturday. The house is a sequel to Slaughter Sinema, a house that debuted in 2018 at Halloween Horror Nights 28.

Set in a drive-in in the fictional town of Carey, Ohio—which has been the scene for other HHN houses in the past—the house featured terror-filled scenes from the drive-in’s latest lineup of 1980s-inspired slasher films. The rooms featured posters for each movie, including “Pumpkin Guts” and “The Cult of the Beast Baby.”

For the new house, Universal is returning to the drive-in for more B-movie scares.

“If you’re dying for a b-movie horror marathon, head to Carey drive-in,” Universal said in social media post describing the house. “Scream through scenes from creature features, grindhouse gore, spaghetti westerns and more.”

In addition to the haunted houses, Halloween Horror Nights will feature five scare zones, live entertainment and access to select attractions.

The separate-ticket event returns to Universal Studios Florida on Aug. 30 and runs select nights through Nov. 3. Tickets are on sale now.
