Merlin Entertainments, the owner Legoland, is bringing Minecraft to life in theme parks in the US and UK.

The UK-based park operator is partnering up with Mojang Studios, the company behind Minecraft, to create new experiences inspired by the game.

As part of a new agreement, Merlin will invest more than $110 million to develop to Minecraft attractions—one in the US and the other in the UK—set to open between 2026 and 2027. The plan will include hotels, retail, food and beverage and “a Minecraft-themed ride,” according to the company.

“Minecraft is the best-selling video game of all time, and this world-first will see fans experience its thrill and creativity in real life, at theme parks and city-centre attractions in leading tourist destinations,” Merlin CEO Scott O’Neil said in a news release.

Merlin also plans to expand the experiences to other locations around the world. The company also operates Sea Life aquariums, Madame Tussauds and Peppa Pig Theme Park.
