Disneyland’s Hungry Bear Restaurant, which closed for refurbishments earlier this month, will get a new theme inspired by Country Bear Jamboree when it reopens, Disney has announced.
The restaurant will be renamed Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree, and it will feature a menu of regional BBQ dishes that “the Country Bears discovered while they were on tour.”
Diners will be able to enjoy their meal alongside a soundtrack of the bears greatest hits, although the rethemed restaurant will not become a character dining location, according to Disney.
Hungry Bear, located in the Critter County section of the park, closed earlier this month as construction continues on the nearby Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, which opens later this year.
More details about the transformation, including the menu and an opening date will be shared at a later date.
