Disney Destiny, the new cruise ship set to debut this November, reached a construction milestone this month.

The ship completed the “float up” procedure when the ship touched water for the first time at Meyer Werft Shipyard in Germany, Disney Cruise Line announced.

The building dock was filled with water from the Ems River to lift the ship from the floor so it could be guided to another area of the hall.

Disney says crews will test different onboard systems and continue to build out the ship’s interior spaces.

Last month, Disney Cruise Line shared a first look at the Minnie Mouse artwork on the ship’s bow. The hand-painted filigree depicts Minnie wearing a cape and striking a superhero pose.

Disney Destiny will feature a heroes and villains theme, offering experiences inspired by characters and stories from Disney, Pixar and Marvel.

The design of the Grand Hall, also known as the atrium, will be inspired by “Black Panther” and include a statue of T’Challa. The ship will also get a piano bar inspired Cruella De Vil from “101 Dalmatians.”

Disney Destiny will begin its maiden voyage on Nov. 20 from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale.
