Founded by Ashley Carter, a journalist with several years of experience covering theme parks in Central Florida, TPD offers the latest news and information on Disney World, Universal Orlando, SeaWorld and other attractions in and around Central Florida.

A Note from the Editor

My love for theme parks began at an early age and only grew from there. In college, I worked at Disney World twice—first at Disney’s Pop Century Resort and then at Tower of Terror at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. I worked in the news industry for over 10 years. During that time, I got the chance to cover theme parks as a digital reporter.

I started Theme Park Decoder for two main reasons. I wanted an outlet that would let me use years of knowledge to continue to explore my passion for theme parks and attractions. I also wanted to create a place where theme park fans, tourists and locals could find the information they need.

I hope Theme Park Decoder becomes an invaluable resource of information for everyone.
