Disneyland is preparing to close the Doctor Strange stage show at Disney California Adventure later this month.
Doctor Strange: Mysteries of the Mystic Arts will end its run at Avengers Campus on June 30, the Orange County Register reports, citing Disneyland officials.
The outdoor show, which is typically performed multiple times a day, doesn’t have any showtimes published on the Disneyland website beyond June 22.
The show debuted in 2021 with the opening of Avengers Campus. It features Doctor Strange performing the mystic arts in the ruins of the mysterious Ancient Sanctum. Other Marvel characters such as Thor and Captain Marvel make appearances in the show. Special effects are also used to make the sanctum glow in the evenings.
Disney hasn’t yet said what it plans to do with the Ancient Sanctum once the Doctor Strange show is done. Doctor Strange will still appear in the land for meet-and-greets after the show closes.
