Summer will be here before we know it. Schools will be on break and vacations will be in full swing, making it a perfect time for people to visit the theme parks.
All of the Central Florida parks will be offering something to do this summer beyond their usual lineup off attractions—whether its a new attraction or a new show.
Legoland Florida will kick off the fun on June 1 with the return of its Summer Block Party event, which sports a new name this time around: Summer Brick Party.
The three-month event will include new characters, new shows, some returning offerings, seasonal treats and the park’s popular Fourth of July celebration.
Go Xtreme!, the high-energy stunt show that debuted last year, will return to the Winter Haven park for more amazing thrills. Taking place on the set of a fictional TV show, Go Xtreme! features stunt performers on skateboards, rollerblades and bikes competing for fame.
Another show visitors can enjoy during Legoland’s Summer Brick Party is Brickbeard’s Watersport Stunt Show, which features wakeboarding, barefoot skiing and other stunts on the the water.
Legoland is also adding new characters for visitors to meet, including Legoland Girl, Legoland Boy and a bright red Lego Duplo bunny named Hopsy, who will also have her own show—”Playtime with Hopsy.”
“Party. Play. Fun,” another new show, will feature Lego characters as well as music, singing and dancing.
Visitors can also snack on seasonal treats such as Pineapple Party Apple Fries, a tropical twist on the park’s popular Granny Smith apple fries; braised pork tacos and grilled Argentinian chorizo.
And then on July 4, the park will put on its Red, White & Boom celebration, with build activities, a DJ dance party and its Touch the Sky fireworks display over Lake Eloise.
For a limited time, Legoland is offering kids tickets for $29 with the purchase of a single adult ticket. The ticket include admission to Legoland theme park, Legoland water park and Peppa Pig theme park.
