United Parks & Resorts, the parent company of SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, wants to fill more than 5,000 positions in the U.S. ahead of the summer.
The company will hold a nationwide, five-day hiring event from May 5 to May 9. Full-time, part-time and seasonal positions are available at SeaWorld Orlando, Aquatica Orlando, Discovery Cove, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and its parks in California, Texas, Pennsylvania and Virginia.
Positions include lifeguards, ride operators, ride technicians, and food & beverage. The company is also hiring for a variety of entertainment jobs, including dancers and vocalists.
“The summer season is right around the corner, and we have a great line-up of new rides and attractions, presentations and shows, exclusive experiences offers and crave able food and beverage options for our guests to enjoy,” United Parks CEO Marc Swanson said in a news release. “We are looking for passionate and talented people to help us provide great experiences and inspire guests of all ages to protect animals and the wild wonders of our world.”
