Universal Orlando has released more details about Volcano Bay Nights, the after-hours event debuting at its water park this spring.
The limited-capacity event will take place on select Saturday nights starting April 12. It will feature live entertainment, character meet-and-greets, complimentary treats and family-friendly activities.
DreamWorks characters like Shrek and Fiona from “Shrek” and King Julien and Alex from “Madagascar” will meet with visitors.
Visitors will also have access to select attractions, including Krakatau Aqua Coaster, Ko-okiri Body Plunge and Kala and Tai Qui Serpentine Body Slides.
Bites like shrimp and pasta will be complimentary, but other food and beverage items will be available to purchased at different dining locations at the park.
Volcano Bay Nights will be held on April 12 and 26 and May 3, 10 and 17. The event will run from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., but visitors enter the park as early a 4 p.m.
Tickets are now on sale and cost $99 per person. Passholders can get a 10% discount off tickets.
