Disney Adventure, the largest ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, will set sail on its maiden voyage on Dec. 15, 2025, the company announced Wednesday.

Formerly the Global Dream ship that Disney purchased unfinished in 2022, Disney Adventure will accommodate about 6,700 passengers and 2,500 crew for sailings from Singapore.

On Wednesday, Disney shared more details about the ship’s seven themed zones, which will include a shopping and dining area themed to stories like “The Little Mermaid” and “Finding Nemo,” an entertainment area with activities and games, and an interactive water play area themed to “Toy Story.”

Marvel Landing, which will be themed to super heroes, will feature three attractions: Groot Galaxy Spin, Pym Quantum Racers and Ironcycle Test Run—the cruise line’s first roller coaster at sea. At 820 feet, it will also be the longest coaster on any cruise ship.

Another themed area will be San Fransokyo Street, which will feature a “Big Hero 6”-inspired arcade with an interactive training simulator.

Disney Imagination Garden, which will serve as the central hub of the ship, will be home to dining, shopping and live shows. The Garden Stage will host “Let’s Set Sail,” a dance party on embarkation day; “Avengers Assemble!,” featuring a battle between Marvel super heroes and villains; and “Captain Jack Sparrow & the Siren Queen.”

“Remember” will be a Broadway-style production at the Walt Disney Theater. The musical will feature characters from “Wall-E” and other Disney stories.

Disney Adventure will offer distinct dining experiences for its rotational dining. Passengers will dine at one of two “entertainment restaurants: Navigator’s Club, which will be inspired by traditional captain’s table dinners, and Hollywood Spotlight Club, which will take inspiration from the golden age of Hollywood. Both will feature signature entertainment with appearances by characters like Mickey, Minnie and Donald.

The ship will also have two “animated restaurants”—Animator’s Palate and Animator’s Table—which will celebrate Disney and Pixar animated films. “The dining rooms will transform from black-and-white to full-spectrum color throughout the meal,” according to Disney.

Enchanted Summer Restaurant and Pixar Market Restaurant will offer table service in the evenings and buffet-style breakfast and lunch.

For an additional charge, passengers can dine at the ship’s two premium dining restaurants—Palo Trattoria, Italian dishes and wine service, and Mike & Sulley’s – Flavors of Asia, a full-service Japanese steakhouse.

There will also be several quick-serve restaurants available throughout the ship.

Disney says the Adventure will offer a variety of stateroom, which most of the main staterooms feature the split bathroom concept with the sink and show in one room and a sink and toilet in another.

Concierge-level rooms will include access to a lounge with beverages and snacks as well as access to spa and fitness facilities and exclusive areas.

Booking for the Disney Adventure will open on Dec. 10. Disney says details about pricing and sailing dates will be released Nov. 14.
