Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is offering discount admission to some Central Florida residents.
For a limited time, the attraction is running its Mercury Offer, with one-day admission priced at $19 for adults and $14 for kids on select dates.
Residents of Orange and Osceola counties can get the discount admission deal Sept. 9-15. The deal will then be available to residents of Seminole and Volusia counties Sept. 16-22.
A one-day ticket to the visitors complex typically costs $75.
Tickets under the Mercury Offer can only be purchased at Kennedy Space Center, and there is a limit of six tickets per transaction. Proof of residency is required to get the discount.
KSC is also encouraging visitors to bring canned goods and other non-perishable items for the food donation drive with Second Harvest Food Bank, although a donation is not required to receive the ticket discount.
Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex features exhibits and attractions, including Space Shuttle Atlantis, the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame, the Rocket Garden, the Apollo Treasures Gallery, Planet Play and more.
