The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival returns to Disney World soon and, this year, it will feature a variety of new food and drink items on the menu.
New global marketplaces (aka food kiosks) have been added to the lineup as well as new items to some of the returning marketplaces.
Bramblewood Bites will be a new marketplace offered at the festival. Located between the Imagination pavilion and World Showcase, it will serve up grilled cider-brined pork tenderloin, grilled bison and roasted Brussel sprouts with root vegetables.
CommuniCore Hall, which opened in June, will be the site of two global marketplaces—Macatizers and Festival Favorites. Macatizers will serve up four types of Mac & cheese dishes including a plant-based Impossible chili macaroni and cheese with sour cream. Festival Favorites will offer popular items from past festivals.
Also new this year is Forest & Field with dishes like chili with bison, lamb and pork belly; and Milled & Mulled with desserts like carrot cake and fig and balsamic cheesecake.
New items will also populate the menus of several returning marketplaces, including Flavors of America, Japan, Mexico and Earth Eats. Other returning marketplaces include The Noodle Exchange, Flavors from Fire, The Fry Basket and Brew-Wing Lab. And yes, Disney is bringing back the pickle milkshake, which debut last year at Brew-Wing.
The full festival menu is available on the Disney World website.
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival also includes the Eat to the Beat concert series. The first set of performers taking the stage at the America Gardens Theatre include The Finesse Party Band (Aug. 29), The Fray (Aug. 30-31) and Sugar Ray (Sept. 1-2).
Access to the festival is included with admission to EPCOT.
